ahh the daily grind...

Okay..so I now it has been nearly three weeks since my last post, to all the appreciative fans i apologize.  Okay the fact that I say "appreciative" fans might be a good sign that I used to be conceited, but now I am perfect :D   The last few weeks have been just that, the daily grind.  The school work load has reached a peak and I am still slammed with my final student teaching project so the amount of time available for adventuring has reached a raging...trickle.  There has been a few interesting weekends happening to note a good story on this blog.  Last weekend I attended a rugby game in Rotorua with a few of the Americans that came with me on the student teaching program.  The adventure came after the game when I decided that I needed some fresh air and decided to go for a walk.  The walk then turned into an ambition to make my way back home, which should be about 1.5 hours on foot.  Well two hours later I realized I was walking the wrong way and had to walk back and finally got a ride home.

The second adventure was yet another rugby game..hmm must be a theme here.  This game however was in Auckland.  We drove down on Saturday and booked into our hostel.  From there we took the train too the stadium courtesy of the city for every person with a ticket to the rugby game.  The game was pretty sweet and we the people in the stadium even made the news headlines for the drunken craziness that happened during the game.  Well I wasn't too crazy but I definitely enjoyed a few beers :)     That night we stayed up until 3 in the morning to watch the All Blacks rugby game that was aired live from London...the night was pretty crazy and we finaly dragged ourselves too bed at 6 in the morning.  I did bring my camera but left it in my bag as I was afraid I would lose it. The picture is courtesy of one of my american cohorts!

Whew so much work left and only four weeks to go...there is still much fun yet to be had but work before play.  Have a great week and I will try and get some more posts out!
